June 9, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Greetings from the Panola County Juneteenth Festival Committee! We are delighted to invite your entity to our first annual festival, which will be held downtown Sardis,  Mississippi on June 9, 2018.  Juneteenth is the oldest African American Holiday first recognized June 19, 1865. This is a free event, open to the public and will be a day of togetherness and empowerment of history among all races.

This is a kid-friendly, family-oriented event with food, prizes, face painting and a whole lotta fun! The vision of our Juneteenth is to allow businesses, individuals, and organizations a time to say thank you to the community and those who help their entities strive.

The festival will be open to the public at no cost: An opening ceremony will kick-off the festival at 12 noon at the Sardis Library along with special recognition, music, and refreshments.

Our guests will include Panola County’s Legislative members, Panola County public officials, area community leaders and, of course, all of you. Our festival will also feature free food and free merchant vendors, children’s activities, a health fair, educational exhibits and musical entertainment.

Festival updates are available by visiting us on Facebook, www.facebook.com/panolacountyjuneteenthfestival.

If you would like to: be a vendor (food, exhibitor or merchandise), volunteer, or participate in our annual health fair, please complete the correct forms. All forms for participation will be available soon on our website or by via email. We ask that you complete your forms and return it to Panola County Juneteenth Committee, P.O.
